OUR DOCTORS

Meet Hyon Joo Hong

To be in the presence of someone who sees you as a whole is profoundly healing. Osteopathy showed me how. I love osteopathy because it embodies a whole-person approach to hands-on care.
In my practice, I use osteopathic manual therapy to work with muscles, joints, fascia, and other soft tissues to relieve pain, balance the nervous system, and improve mobility and circulation. With each session, I strive not only to address physical complaints but also to foster a deeper connection to one’s body, mind, and beyond.
Every body has its own story to tell. Through touch and presence, I support individuals in nurturing their body’s innate wisdom, allowing it to unfold and leading to outcomes that resonate far beyond the treatment room. It is a true privilege to hold space where we can orient toward health and healing.
Having worked in diverse integrative clinics in Australia and the U.S.A., I value collaboration across medical, allied, and alternative health fields to ensure the best outcomes for those I work with. I also integrate my experience in Pilates and movement training to support individuals in cultivating a deeper awareness of their bodies.

Originally from South Korea, I have a deep appreciation for the values and diversity of both Eastern and Western cultures. My genuine curiosity to understand nuances and read between the lines adds depth to my approach. I love nature as much as I enjoy a good dose of kimchi, and that’s my way of balancing the yin and yang of well-being.

I am an Australian-trained non-physician osteopathic manual therapist, holding a Bachelor of Clinical Science and a Master of Osteopathic Medicine.
